What dice notation does this accept?
The format is <code>[count]d[sides][+|-modifier]</code> — for example <code>1d20</code>, <code>2d6+3</code>, or <code>3d8-2</code>. You can roll any die from D4 up to D100.
What does 4d6dl1 mean?
It rolls four six-sided dice and drops the lowest one (dl1 = drop lowest 1), summing the remaining three. This is the standard method for rolling Dungeons & Dragons ability scores.
Are the rolls truly random and fair?
Yes. Rolls use your browser's cryptographic random source, so no number is luckier than another. The last 10 rolls are kept in the history panel.
