How is my age calculated?
Your age is counted as complete years, then the leftover months, then the leftover days between your date of birth and the "as of" date (today by default). Because calendar months differ in length, the day count is measured against the actual months elapsed rather than a fixed 30-day month.
What does the "as of" date do?
It sets the moment you want your age computed for. Leave it on the default to get your age today, or pick any past or future date to see how old you were — or will be — on that day.
Why do the weeks, days, and hours totals look so large?
The "Also" section shows your full age expressed entirely in one unit at a time — total weeks, total days, total hours, and so on — rather than a years-plus-remainder breakdown, so each number counts the whole span since birth.
Is my date of birth uploaded anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored.
